Sound of silence...

This morning I'm taking  my daughters for a walk in the woods. I want to show my oldest the bold trees, and explain to her, this is a typicall wintery  phenomenon. I 'm very curious about how so will react to this. What I love about children so much, is the way how they give words to their thoughts. While in the woods, Jill was very loudly, 'wording'  everthing see saw: " Look mum a tree, ... a leaf, ... a sitting bench, and then suddenly... she yelled.... ' a garbage can', like that is something typical for the woods :-)
The thing that made me proud the most, was when Jill, made a 'be quiet' gesture to the joggers, having their sunday morning run, and told them that she wanted to hear 'the sound of silence'.
